Update for CUAET applicants: Attention Canada‑Ukraine authorization for emergency travel (CUAET) applicants.

As of September 30, 2023, if you submit your passport to a different VAC location than where you had provided your biometrics, you will be required to pay additional fees. Following Ministerial Instructions issued by the Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada on April 9, April 29, May 19, June 10, July 1, and October 1, 2020, February 1 and September 1, 2021, and April 1, 2022, applicants can no longer submit an application for temporary residence in paper at the VAC. New Ministerial Instructions issued on April 1, 2023, have extended this measure for an indefinite period of time with some exemptions. Please check the IRCC website to find out more about these exemptions.
